What Types of Zhu Zhu Pets Are There?
Zhu Zhu Pets are here and apparently they are here to stay. At first, you would think that this was some special breed of hamster, but it will not take long to figure out that the hottest toy of 2009 is the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster. This is one of the most unique toys of the year and sure to be on just about every kids Christmas list.
Zhu Zhu Pets are toy hamsters that give a lifelike appearance and that the kids are sure to enjoy for hours each day. They have two different modes and right now come in four different characters. The modes that the Zhu Zhu Pets can be put in are Loving Mode and Explore Mode. The four characters that are available so far are: Chunk, Pipsqueek, Squiggles and Numnums.
Loving Mode is when the kids can treat their Zhu Zhu Pet just as they would a real live hamster. They can pet it and hold them tight and the hamster will make noises just like a real one would. While the kids can cuddle with their Zhu Zhu Pets, this is not meant to be a sleep toy and should not be treated as such.
The second mode that the pets can be put into is Explore Mode. This is where all the fun and action starts. Each Zhu Zhu Pet has its own personality and will do various different things in explore mode. This is the mode that they are to be put in when the kids want to watch them scamper across the room or zoom through their hamster city.
Chunk is one of the favorites as he seems a little confused as to whether he is a hamster or a surfer dude. Don’t mistake the laid back attitude though as when this guy gets rolling, it seems like his new middle name is mischief. He just may end up as the favorite for every little boy.
Pipsqueak will be right there with Chunk causing lots of trouble. The looks are cute and cuddly, but there is an evil streak in this one. Not afraid of anyone or anything, Pipsqueak seems like she will take on the world in a seconds notice and have a blast doing it. Her and Chunk together may just be a bit too much for anyone to handle.
On the opposite end of the spectrum there are Squiggles and Numnums. Squiggles seems like a mister know it all that has done everything, but he still has a little life in him when something new catches his interest. Numnums is definitely a cuddler and is about as cute as can be. Numnums is like the Garfield of hamsters as her nose can smell food a mile away.
The personalities together are the perfect match and will lead to hours of enjoyment for everyone. Just when you think Chunk and Pipsqueak are getting into trouble, Squiggles will be there to straighten them out. These toys truly do take on a life of their own and the only way to truly understand it is to experience it for yourself.
