When Christmas season rolls around, it is always interesting to see the same old games start to pop up and spend their entire yearly advertising budget over the course of one week. Games like Yahtzee, Stratego, Life and Monopoly are all games that are great, but they and games like them have been around for decades. That is why this year it is nice to see a change of pace with the Mindflex Game.
Instead of worrying about what is going to come up on the die or flipping the wrong card over, the Mindflex Game really does use your head. The game features a headset that looks like it came out of Star Trek that can read the waves of the brain to move the ball around the obstacle course. We know, it sounds crazy, but one quick experience with the game and you will quickly realize how incredible the Mindflex Game really is.
The game is played on a board that does feature a fan to get the ball elevated, but that is all that it does. By learning the techniques that the instruction manual teaches, your mind will actually start to manipulate the ball around the obstacle course and will have it doing some amazing things.
This is one of the more expensive games that will be on the shopping list this season, but it could have a lot of benefits. If the user can manage to master the techniques, these mind exercises will surely prove useful later in life. The amount of concentration that it takes to move an object is surely something that will come in handy as an adult. Still don’t believe?
