Many adults can probably still remember the day the Nerf football was first introduced. For those of us that lived in the city, it was the greatest invention of all time. We could finally play ball in the street and not have to worry about missing a pass and having it damage somebody’s car. The reaction was the same the first time it hit as we cringed thinking we were about to get in trouble, but then it fell harmlessly to the ground. Nerf continues this fine tradition for a new generation of children with the Nerf-N-Strike Gun.

The Nerf-N-Strike Gun may look like it can do some serious damage, but it really is all bark and no bite. The foam blasters will shoot out missiles, but after they hit their target, all they do is fall harmlessly to the ground. While there are plenty of toys out there that have parents shaking their heads in disbelief, they can still count on Nerf to provide some good old fashioned fun that will not harm a single child.

When the kids don’t have anyone else to play with, the Nerf-N-Strike Gun can still give them some lots of fun. By putting the included DVD into their DVD player, they can take on the evil Kree Dalenn and the rest of his cronies. When the targets pop up, they can fire at will on the TV. While the soft missiles are capable of sticking to the screen, they will do no harm whatsoever to the TV or anyone else.

Included in the set are the blaster gun, 3 blasters, 1 mega missile, DVD, and micro darts. The manufacturer recommends that this toy only be used by children 8 years old and up and it is a one or two player game. Compared to many of the games that are out there today, the Nerf-N-Strike Gun is a bargain and you know that the kids will play it forever.
