The game is based off of the TV series that features the Bakugan Warriors. If you've not seen the show, the Bakugan are actually spring-loaded marbles that open up and turn into a fearsome warrior. The idea behind the game is to get all of your opponents’ middle gate cards to win the game. There is a lot of strategy involved and having the right Warriors gives them a better chance of winning.

The Bakugan 7 in 1 Maxus Dragonoid is actually made up of one warrior, Neo Dragonoid, and six separate traps. When all of these pieces are combined, they come together to form the Maxus Dragonoid. This is a fairly complex toy, but your child should have no problem assembling it for use.

As an added bonus, the Bakugan 7 in 1 Maxus Dragonoid also has one ability card and one middle gate card. This is a toy that is meant for someone who already has a starter set, as the complete game cannot be played with this piece alone. For anyone just getting into Bakugan, you may want to also purchase one of the starter sets to make sure that the game can be played properly. However, the Bakugan 7 in 1 Maxus Dragonoid makes a great stand-alone toy that is sure to please all little children during the 2009 Christmas holiday.

The Bakugan Gauntlet almost looks like something you would see in Star Wars, but it is a very important piece to the strategic game. Your child will be able to hold up to six cards and can also use the calculator for quick math to help make the game a bit easier for them. While this toy is a necessity for the game, it can also be used all by itself.

In addition to the Bakugan Gauntlet, there are also three ability cards included in the set. This is important as part of the object of the game is to accumulate as many playing cards as is possible. Who knows what the three cards included in this set will hold towards the success of your child's next game of Bakugan.

While children of all ages are going to want to see Santa bring this to them this Christmas, it is recommended that no child under the age of three should use this toy. Unfortunately, there are some small pieces, which could be considered hazardous and possibly cause choking with younger children. It is important that your child understands this so that an accident does not happen.

This is another one of those toys that will probably only be in stores for a short time before it is sold out. Searching online is always the best way to go when you're shopping for the hottest toys of the Christmas season. Not only would you be able to find it easier, it will also probably be much cheaper.
